SPEEDWAY – Michael Timko carried 30 times for 326 yards and five touchdowns Nov. 6 as Class 2A top-ranked Indianapolis Ritter shook off rival No. 15 Speedway, 41-17, in the Sectional 29 championship game.

After trailing 17-13 at halftime, the defending 1A state champion Raiders (11-1) scored on four Timko touchdowns in the second half to down the host Sparkplugs (6-6). Timko added three catches for 86 yards in racking up an amazing 412 yards of offense.
Ritter will travel next weekend to No. 3 Monrovia (12-0), a 7-6 winner over No. 15 North Putnam, for the regional title.
